Cognishine Selected for EIT Health’s “Start-ups Meet Pharma” Programme

We are proud to announce that Cognishine has been selected as one of only five pioneering start-ups chosen to participate in EIT Health’s “Start-ups Meet Pharma ”, in collaboration with Abbott. Following a competitive evaluation process, we are thrilled to share that Cognishine has now advanced to the Partnership Building stage of the programme.

About the Programme

Organised by EIT Health, one of Europe’s leading health innovation networks, this programme connects innovative start-ups with top-tier pharmaceutical and medtech companies. The goal is to co-develop and scale impactful solutions to real-world clinical challenges.

This year’s Challenge 2, proposed by Abbott, called for cutting-edge solutions that enable remote cognitive testing for children aged 1–10 years. The challenge focused on digital platforms that allow proffessionals and families to complete cognitive assessments at home, eliminating the need for trained in-person administrators while ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and ease of use.

Cognishine’s Vision

At Cognishine, we are driven by the mission to bring accessible, effective cognitive rehabilitation to every family. Our platform—already transforming therapy for thousands—aligns powerfully with Abbott’s vision of making remote paediatric trials more efficient, inclusive, and scalable.

Through this programme, we aim to:
• Adapt our platform for remote paediatric cognitive assessment, supporting young children.
• Deliver GDPR and HIPAA-compliant, validated assessments in a user-friendly, gamified format.
• Ensure seamless integration into existing clinical trial frameworks and workflows.

What This Means for Cognishine

Being selected for the Partnership Building phase is a significant milestone. It enables deeper collaboration with Abbott and EIT Health mentors to refine our solution, explore pilot implementations, and set the foundation for long-term strategic partnership.

This marks an important step in Cognishine’s growth into the clinical trials and digital therapeutics space, complementing our existing strengths in intervention, neuro-rehabilitation, teletherapy, and patient engagement.
